This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and changes to reservations made at Sand Dune Hotel. By making a reservation with us, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. General Cancellation Policy
- Free Cancellation Period:
- Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to the arrival date.
- If a cancellation is made within 7 days of the arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full booking amount will apply.
- No-Show Policy:
- If you fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice, a one-night cancellation fee will be charged.
- The hotel reserves the right to cancel the remaining nights of the booking if no communication is received from the guest.
- Stop Sale Policy:
- Stop Sale requests may be issued by Sand Dune Hotel at any time and without conditions. Guests affected by Stop Sale will be notified via email or phone.
2. Non-Refundable Bookings
- For certain rate plans or promotional offers labeled as non-refundable, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.
3. Modifications to Reservations
- Change Requests:
- Modifications to your booking, such as date changes or room type adjustments, are subject to availability and rate differences.
- Requests for changes must be made at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
- Early Departures:
- No refunds will be issued for unused nights in case of early departure, unless otherwise specified in the booking terms.
4. Payment Terms
- Full payment may be required at the time of booking or at check-in, depending on the chosen rate plan.
- Guests must settle any outstanding balance at check-in, either by credit card or cash, unless prepayment has been arranged.
5. Refund Policy
- Eligibility for Refunds:
- Refunds are processed only for cancellations made within the free cancellation period or in cases where the hotel is unable to honor a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Refund Process:
- Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the booking.
- Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to be processed, depending on your payment provider.
- Non-Refundable Deposits:
- Deposits collected for group bookings, events, or special promotions are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in the booking agreement.
6. Force Majeure
Sand Dune Hotel is not liable for cancellations or refunds due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
